FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry and can be used in surface-to-air missile solid-propellant engines. Nozzle unit comprises housing, insert to make nozzle throat and resilient sealant. Housing is equipped with composite substrate including in-series connected base, bushing and flaring. Tail part of housing is equipped with retainer. Bushing is arranged on the insert, the ends of which are installed in sockets made in end surfaces of the base and the flaring. Elastic sealant is arranged between all mating surfaces of parts of substrate, housing and insert. Substrate is made from material including carbon fibres and phenol-formaldehyde resin. Insert is made of heat-resistant material.
EFFECT: enlarging the number of nozzle units for solid-propellant rocket engines.
