FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering and is aimed at improving the design of nozzle apparatuses. Proposed is a connecting unit of the nozzle extension, including a metal body with cylindrical and end sections, lining made of heat-resistant plastic and an attachment made of carbon-carbon composite materials (CCCM) with cylindrical flanging enveloping the lining along the outer surface. A sleeve made of heat-resistant plastic is installed between the cylindrical and end sections of the body and the flanging of the attachment, adjoining with the outer surface of the lining and connected with the flanging of the attachment by plugs made of heat-resistant plastic in form of a truncated cone, and with the lining by an adhesive. The sleeve and the attachment are installed in the metal body on an adhesive composition, the smaller diameter of the plugs is directed towards the attachment. The connection of the sleeve with the metal body is made in form of pins made of heat-resistant plastic, wherein the pins do not touch the attachment, wherein the pins and the plugs are evenly displaced relative to each other.
EFFECT: weight of the structure is thereby reduced when using an attachment made of a carbon-carbon composite material.
