SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means for the prevention and treatment of xerostomia. A product for the prevention and treatment of xerostomia containing glycerine, hyaluronic acid, a water component and flavouring, characterized by the following: it additionally contains lavender hydrolate, betaine, sorbitol, sodium benzoate, citric acid, sodium chloride, potassium hydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, succinic acid, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride, contains distilled water as an aqueous component, contains menthol as a flavouring agent in the following ratio of ingredients, wt.%: 2.5–3.5 of lavender hydrolate, 1.5–2.5 of glycerine, 0.5–1.5 of hyaluronic acid, 0.5–1.5 of betaine, 0.5–1.5 of sorbitol, 0.5–1.5 of sodium benzoate, 0.05–0.2 of citric acid, 0.002–0.01 of sodium chloride, 0.04–0.12 of potassium hydrogen phosphate, 0.04–0.08 of potassium chloride, 0.025–0.1 of succinic acid, 0.04–0.07 of menthol, 0.01–0.05 of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 0.001–0.002 of calcium chloride, 0.0002–0.0008 of magnesium chloride, the rest is distilled water.

EFFECT: invention has high preventive and therapeutic effectiveness and can be used to relieve symptoms of xerostomia.
