FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture for use in fodder production, in particular for use of mineral fodder additives in feeding ruminant animals. Method for increasing meat productivity of bull calves in the fattening process consists in that, in addition to the basic diet, mineral additives in the nano-dispersed form of Cr2O3 are added with particle size of 91 nm at dose of 0.2 mg/kg of dry substance of the ration and Fe with particle size of 90 nm at dose of 1.4 mg/kg of dry substance of the ration, and filler for feed additives used is wheat bran in amount of 50 g per head per day. Fodder additives are included into the ration of bull-calves together with the concentrated fodder. Fodder additives are fed to young stock at age of 10 months in course of 14 days once a day.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to increase calves live weight gain and improve quality composition of bull-calves’ carcasses.
