FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to a method for preparing a feed additive for young cattle. The method is characterized by the fact that a feed additive in the form of linseed oil is introduced into the main diet of 10-11-month-old calves in a dosage of 3% of the dry matter of the diet with the additional inclusion of nanodispersed Cr2O3 chromium particles with a size of 91 nm. Chromium nanoparticles were obtained by plasma chemical synthesis and dispersed before being included in the diet in saline solution using an ultrasonic dispersant at 35 kHz for 30 minutes. Chromium nanoparticles are administered at a dosage of 20 mg per 1 kg of dry matter of the diet during the period of raising calves for 14 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention will increase the activity level of pancreatic enzymes in calves and increase their live weight gain.
