FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to small-sized unmanned vertical takeoff and landing vehicles. Rotorcraft copter landing method is characterized by that copter landing is carried out by hovering on branch or wire due to use of grip in form of two interlocking L-shaped fingers brought out of area of operation of screws on stem with its turn drive. Piloting and landing are performed so that the thread connecting the gripping fingers touches the branch or wire and by its tension closes the limit switch by gripping with pins. Rotorcraft copter comprises airframe with bar turn drive rigidly secured thereto between screws. At the output of the drive there is a bar, at the opposite end of which there is a rigidly fixed grip body, on which a pair of L-shaped pins is arranged so that to enable movement. On one of the pins there is a rigidly fixed thread passed so that in an open position of the grip it is stretched through a hole arranged in the area of angular sector of the second pin, and with the second end rigidly attached to the actuator of rotational movement of the limit switch.
EFFECT: enabling the copter landing and fixing on the branches or wires.
