FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport, particularly, to pipeline repair by defective section cutting and can be used for repair of gas and oil pipelines. In the method, after fixing the cut-out defective pipeline section by means of a hoisting device, a bend with a shut-off device is inserted into the lower point of the cut-out pipeline section, pumping through the outlet of oil residues, pumping through the outlet into the space of the repair section of the oil pipeline of air-mechanical foam.
EFFECT: provision of explosion and fire safe cutting of repair section of main oil pipeline without loss of reliability and improvement of technological process efficiency.
