FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of organophosphorus compounds with a P-C bond and specifically to a method of producing 2,4-dichloro-2-dichlorophosphorylbutanoic acid chloride of formula (1), which is given below. This method involves reaction of phosphorus pentachloride with γ-butyrolactone in the medium of an inert organic solvent with subsequent formation of an intermediate adduct of phosphorus pentachloride and γ-butyrolactone, which is further treated with a sulfuric acid derivative to obtain the end product. Sulfuric acid derivative used is hydroxylamine sulphate and treatment is carried out at room temperature.
EFFECT: simple process of producing 2,4-dichloro-2-dichlorophosphorylbutanoic acid chloride of formula (1).
