FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing an aqueous dispersion of carbon nanoparticles, which consists in the fact that water with graphite powder added to it is exposed to ultrasound at frequency from 20 to 40 kHz and power from 250 to 1500 W for 9.5-16 hours with forced circulation cooling, further, the obtained aqueous dispersion is alternately exposed to microwave radiation at frequency 2.45 GHz (2450 MHz) and power from 600 to 1000 W, and then again with ultrasound at frequency from 20 to 40 kHz and power from 250 to 1500 W as well with forced circulation cooling.
EFFECT: invention increases stability of the aqueous dispersion of carbon nanoparticles during prolonged storage.
