METHOD OF PRODUCING A COMPOSITION FOR BORON-NEUTRON CAPTURE THERAPY OF MALIGNANT TUMORS (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61K33/22 A61K41/13 A61P35/00 B82B3/00

Abstract RU 2720458 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to a method for preparing a composition for boron-neutron capture therapy of malignant tumors containing boron nanoparticles with size less than 100 nm, characterized by that elemental boron powder are placed in water and treated for 0.5 to 800 minutes with an intensity of ultrasonic oscillations from 1 to 1,000 W/cm3 and output of 100 W and a process for preparing a composition for boron neutron capture therapy of malignant tumors comprising nanoparticles boron with size of less than 100 nm, characterized by that elemental boron powder is placed in water and treated for 30 to 300 minutes with ultrasound with oscillation intensity of 1 to 1,000 W/cm3 and output power of more than 100 W, then upper part of composition is selected in amount of less than 50 vol. % of total volume of composition and this part is treated with ultrasound with intensity of oscillations from 1 to 1,000 W/cm3 and output power of more than 100 W for 250–300 minutes.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides preparing compositions for boron-neutron capture therapy of malignant tumors with high content of boron nanoparticles that are stable in time.
