FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metal forming and can be used to restore the geometry of the aerofoil profile of large-sized blades after their operation. Base rod for installation of blade in die for its straightening contains two halves of rod made with possibility to fix said blade between them, wherein the halves of the rod are configured to be connected to each other by means of fastening elements located at their opposite ends to form an inner cavity for accommodating the blade, wherein each of rod halves is made with width of not less than double maximum distance from said blade longitudinal axis to its feather profile cross-section location with maximum thickness taking into account allowances, and the surfaces of the halves of the rod, located towards each other, are made in accordance with the shape of the pressure surface of the blade on the first half and with the shape of the back of the blade on the second half. On the surface of each of the halves of the rod, which are located in opposite directions from each other, on the side for placing the tail part of the blade, an annular groove is made, and at the opposite end, at the end of each of the halves of the rod, bosses are made, wherein at rod first half end on side of boss blind hole is made, and at end of rod second half on side of boss there are through holes to accommodate centring screws, which free end has possibility of contact with blade feather end when it is installed in rod.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows improving accuracy of geometrical sizes of a blade at restoration of its profile.
