SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing concentrated nitrogen isotopes by physical and chemical methods and can be used in nuclear power engineering, as well as in biology, medicine and agriculture. Method of separating nitrogen isotopes is carried out by chemical isotope exchange with ammonia as a working substance. Separation of nitrogen isotopes is carried out in a two-phase gas-liquid system with a liquid phase containing one or more polyatomic alcohols and/or amino alcohols which form complexes with ammonia.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the process.
