FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to an anti-burn RF electrode cartridge and a hand-held unit for treatment and skin care. Anti-burn cartridge comprises a tip and a cartridge body. On the lower part of the tip, there is an RF electrode assembly for supplying RF energy to the skin. Tip is located in opening on lower section of cartridge body. RF electrode assembly is arranged to cover the entire lower portion of the tip and extend to an outer surface of the tip, thereby surrounding the outer surface of the tip. Cartridge body comprises first and second parts, ball joint, crimped element and frame element to support crimp. RF electrode assembly is located on the first part of the housing. Second part of the housing is connected with possibility of inclination to the first part and has an opening in the lower portion through which the tip passes. Spherical hinge provides connection of the second part of the body and the tip so that the first part of the body can freely incline within 360 degrees. First and second ends of the corrugated element are connected to the first and second housing parts, respectively. Corrugated element surrounds ball joint and has folds. Frame element is located on the upper end of the corrugated element and is formed in a frame structure surrounding the inner periphery of the corrugated element. Hand unit comprises a housing to which the RF electrode cartridge is detachably connected and which is connected to the control housing.
EFFECT: prevention of a spark between the peripheral end of the RF electrode and the skin during the procedure, thereby preventing the patient's skin burn during the skin treatment, which uses the RF signal, and increasing safety during the procedure.
