SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-power laser engineering – to laser pumping diode power supply systems. Electronic power supply system of a powerful fibre laser with multilevel protection comprises: safety relay connected to the AC mains voltage converter to the unstabilized DC voltage supplying to one or more pulse voltage converter, which is connected to the laser module pumping laser diodes chain, as well as contains protective relay control device, mains voltage converter; pulse voltage converter contains switches, a transformer, a bridge diode rectifier, an LC-filter, as well as a current meter and a PWM controller; each chain of laser pumping diodes is supplied with a corresponding current, the level of which is determined by the PWM controller based on the results of measuring current through the laser diodes by means of a current meter; at that, by the command of any PWM controller, the protective relay control device generates the protective relay operation signal and opens the power circuit in case of an uncontrolled situation occurrence.

EFFECT: multilevel protection of the electronic power system of the fibre laser.
