SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and can be used to control electronic devices. Technical result is achieved by implementing a method of controlling an acoustic device placed on a vertical surface, in which the acoustic device is placed on a bracket on a vertical surface so as to ensure interaction with the bracket passive identification means to obtain an identification signal, in response to receiving of which the acoustic device operation mode is changed and/or the acoustic device settings are changed, wherein the said bracket and the acoustic device are made with possibility of magnetic connection.

EFFECT: providing quick disconnection of the bracket and the device placed thereon with provision of the usual reliability of placing the device on a vertical surface, as well as enabling the device accurate positioning in space and enabling its operating mode and/or settings quick change depending on the usage environment.
