FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of mixture of liquefied petroleum gas and diesel fuel as fuel for shunting diesel locomotives. At filling station in hydrodynamic cavitation emulsifier 14 there performed is preparation of emulsified liquid fuel mixture containing 51% of liquefied petroleum gas, 47% of diesel fuel and 2% of fuel additive. Obtained coagulated fuel mixture is passed through apparatus for producing finely dispersed mixture 15, processes of coagulation and mixing of fuel mixture are intensified under action of ferromagnetic needles 13 rotating in electromagnetic field. Content of liquefied petroleum gas 1, diesel fuel 7 and fuel additive 5 in the fuel mixture is controlled by control valves 2. Also disclosed is a device for implementing the described method.
EFFECT: proposed technical solution enables to obtain fuel mixture for shunting diesel locomotives, which can be efficiently used both in summer and winter periods of the year.
