SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering and machine building, in particular for production of water-fuel emulsions and can be used to increase fuel efficiency, increase of efficiency factor, reduction of harmful emissions of vehicles. Device for hydrodynamic emulsification and activation of liquid fuel comprises a hydrodynamic cavitation apparatus of an emulsifier consisting of a pipeline of the treated liquid fuel, pipeline of added liquid, cylindrical housing of emulsifier, pipeline of cavitation zone with air nozzles and installation of activation of processes in form of electromagnetic inductor, includes swirler made in the form of inclined blades, located in pipeline for supply of liquid fuel; tubular mixer with tangential channels for additional swirling of liquid fuel and an axial channel for supplying water, located in the housing of the emulsifier, connected to the housing by means of holders having the shape of blades with a direction of inclination coinciding with the direction of inclination of the swirler, wherein the water supply pipeline is placed in the holder; flow accelerator located in the pipeline of the cavitation zone, made in the form of a diffuser, mainly in the form of a Venturi nozzle, connected by means of channels to an air ionizer.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption during operation of the device and increased activation of the obtained emulsified liquid fuel.
