FIELD: medical science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and may be used in surgery, traumatology and military surgery for control of bleeding from parenchymal organs and soft tissues. Method of bleeding control includes application on acute wounds of liver, spleen, soft tissues modified sodium hyaluronate, which is a cotton-like substance, which is based on partially crystalline cellular three-dimensional biopolymer of hyaluronic acid with bulk density 0.0085 g/cm2, with immobilized therein Miramistin concentration of 0.0001 g/cm3 and Trombin applied on surface with concentration of 0.075 IU/cm2. Modified sodium hyaluronate exhibits pronounced adhesion and gradual biodegradation that enables prolonged release of impregnated Trombin and Miramistin thereby providing a prolonged haemostatic and antibacterial effect.
EFFECT: method provides accelerating the repair processes in the wound and reducing the wound healing time.
