SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a local hemostatic agent. A local hemostatic agent made in the form of a film containing a carrier layer and a layer for contact with the wound made of chitosan salt, characterized by the following: the carrier layer contains chitosan salt, glycerin and water, and the layer for contact with the wound additionally contains tannin, water and arginine or oligoarginine, or polyarginine, or protamine sulfate in the following ratio of components, wt.%: 2–4 of chitosan salt, 1 of glycerin, 1 of tannin, 1 of arginine, or oligoarginine, or polyarginine, or protamine sulfate, the rest is water.

EFFECT: above invention is an effective local hemostatic agent with increased adhesion, including to a wet wound surface, which does not require any additional materials for its fixation.
