FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to manipulation mechanisms of parallel structure with several degrees of freedom, and can be used in space stations, unmanned aerial vehicles and other hard-to-reach remote objects, as well as in processing or assembly centres and automatic lines to ensure their accident-free operation without human participation. Robot comprises a base and a movable platform with working elements kinematically connected to each other by means of composite drive supports. Number of composite drive supports exceeds the number of degrees of freedom of the movable platform. Each of the composite drive supports is made in the form of a rotary crank installed on the base and driven by a separate rotary motor. Each of the rotary cranks is connected to the movable platform by means of a connecting rod with two cylindrical hinges made with parallel axes of rotation.
EFFECT: simplified design and control system, expanded working space and trouble-free operation at unmanned objects.
