FLAT-SPACE PLATFORM MANIPULATOR WITH REDUNDANT DRIVE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B25J1/02

Abstract RU 2782460 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to platform mechanism of a parallel structure; it can be used in different fields of technology, mostly in remote mechanical devices. A flat-space platform manipulator contains a drive hinge-lever device, which is made in the form of an assembly of a flat closed kinematic circuit interconnecting a support base and a movable platform with a space closed kinematic circuit interconnecting a working body and the mentioned movable platform. A manipulator drive is made with a redundant total number of drive engines, exceeding a number of freedom degrees of the hinge-lever device of the manipulator, and is equipped with cylindrical hinges with parallel axes of rotation.

EFFECT: simplification of a structure, reduction in spatial dimensions, increase in rigidity, and provision of reliable operation in emergencies in remote operation conditions, for example on unmanned spacecrafts.
