SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engineering physics, namely to determining the ratio of averaged phase velocities and the ratio of dynamic rarefaction at the controlled point of the cross section of the wet steam flow to the average value of this parameter over the flow cross-section at known values of mass flow rate and degree of dryness, for example, in the steam line from the steam generator. Disclosed is method of determining ratio of averaged phase velocities, ratio of dynamic rarefaction at controlled point of cross section of wet steam flow to averaged value of said parameter from controlled cross section of flow with known values of its mass flow rate and degree of dryness. Method involves measurement of static pressure and dynamic rarefaction at point of cross section of controlled flow. Dynamic head is measured in the immediate vicinity of the point of measurement of the dynamic rarefaction or at the point where it coincides. Further, ratio of averaged phase velocities and ratio of dynamic rarefaction at point of wet steam flow cross-section to averaged value of this parameter is determined from controlled flow cross-section.
EFFECT: implementation of the method based on measured parameters of one moment in time, in which values of mass flow rate and degree of dryness of the controlled flow are known.
