SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of upholstered furniture and is used for making spring units, in particular, for mattresses, couches and armchairs. Spring unit comprises plurality of parallel rows of U-shaped bending tapes of nonwoven fabric with springs placed into tape pockets, successively interconnected by spring wire, stretched alternately between connected springs upper and lower support turns. Layers of inter-pocket strip of nonwoven web tape are connected to each other by means of vertical soldered seams, made vertically with indents forming inter-pocket space for wire drawing connecting adjacent springs. Rows of tape are attached to each other in a staggered order by means of vertical soldering seams formed at the junction of the inter-pocket strips.
EFFECT: improving environmental friendliness of the product, reducing labour intensity and improving the efficiency of the process of separating spring unit materials to be further processed in order to return to the production cycle, while maintaining operational properties inherent to independent spring units.
