FIELD: combat vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combat vehicle hatches. Combat vehicle hatch cover retaining device comprises a bracket fixed on the cover and pivotally connected to a tie-rod, a guide fixed on the combat vehicle body, and a stopper. Tapered and cylindrical surfaces interacting with the rod-shaped stopper are made at the end of the rod. Rods are installed with possibility of radial displacement in holes of bottom of cylindrical shell arranged inside guide. Spring is fitted in said shell with its one end thrusting against shell bottom and opposite end against plug secured to guide made up of two cylindrical sleeves connected by cage, inside which a groove with conical bevels is made, interacting with the mentioned rods.

EFFECT: reduced force of opening and closing of combat vehicle hatch cover.
