SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and specifically to a biodegradable bactericidal polymer material. Disclosed material includes a polymer matrix and a porphyrin-containing antibacterial additive, where the polymeric matrix is made of polylactide or a mixture of polylactide with polycaprolactone, and the porphyrin-containing antibacterial additive is Purpurin 18 compound and is contained in amount of 0.6 wt.% or more.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of biodegradable bactericidal polymer materials.
