FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatric surgery. Inguinal area is approached. Adjacent part of the wall of the hernial sac is brought out and opened. Neck of the hernial sac is treated. Neck of the hernial sac is pre-narrowed with a ligature suture. Its sheets are glued with Sulphacrylate glue. Operation is completed by layer-by-layer wound closure with application of a cosmetic suture.
EFFECT: this technique allows preserving the anatomy of the inguinal canal in the boys, reducing the risk of injury of the vas deferens, the vessels feeding the testicle and musculus cremaster, which further reduces the risk of reproductive dysfunction.
