FIELD: medicine; pediatric surgery; herniology.
SUBSTANCE: neck of the hernial sac is bandaged with a bypass suture by passing a ligature between the wall of the sac and the round ligament of the uterus. The ligature is tied around the neck of the hernial sac outside its cavity. The operation is completed by layer-by-layer suturing of the wound with the imposition of a cosmetic suture.
EFFECT: method allows to preserve as much as possible the anatomy of the inguinal canal in girls, thereby reducing the risks of a negative impact on their reproductive system, eliminating trauma to the round ligament of the uterus, reducing the time of the operation, and achieving a good cosmetic result due to the minimal access.
