FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to image processing and more specifically to medical decision support based on medical image analysis. Disclosed is a system for implementing a method for diagnosing lung pathologies, which comprises a unit for obtaining an X-ray image of the lungs; a pathology diagnosis unit which, using a neural network based on segmentation, detects areas of pulmonary pathologies in the obtained image; anatomical structures segmentation unit, which determines using the neural network based on the segmentation of the heart region, the right lung region and the left lung region along their outer contours, as well as area from diaphragm and below it; pathology localization unit, which determines the detected pathology localization by comparing the output data from the pathology diagnosis unit and the output data from the anatomical structures’ segmentation unit and removes the expected areas of pathologies extending beyond the region with which they correspond; and a unit for transmitting a report to a device requesting diagnosis.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher accuracy of diagnostics and higher automation of processing.
