FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: device for preliminary preparation of sawdust and organic wastes for preparation of fertilizer comprises a hopper where raw material is loaded. Raw material gets from the hopper onto the screw conveyor and, as the conveyor moves, passes through sensors for weight, nitrogen content, moisture and pH of the raw material. Based on sensors, the control system opens the gates of hoppers located on the screw conveyor in the direction of movement of the substrate, as a result of which the substrate is enriched with nitrogen to 4% of the mass, its pH is brought to level of 6.0-7.0 units, humidity increases to 80-85%. At the same time the supplied water is pre-enriched with bacteria, which accelerates the composting of the mass, which, after treatment, comes out of the conveyor and is immersed into a container for further maturation of the fertiliser.

EFFECT: invention enables to prepare a substrate for composting from sawdust and organic wastes with optimum parameters of moisture, nitrogen content, acidity, wherein enrichment of the starting material with bacteria improves processing of organic substances.
