FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, namely to developing a culture-based inactivated emulsion vaccine against foot-and-mouth disease genotype A/AFRICA/G-VII. Vaccine embodying the offered invention is intended as reserve for use in agriculture, namely in veterinary virology and biotechnology. Possibility of realizing the present invention is confirmed. Foot-and-mouth disease genotype A/AFRICA/G-VII culture-based inactivated emulsion vaccine is prepared with using the oil adjuvant Montanide ISA-61 VG. According to the control infection results, it was established that the immunization volume of this vaccine contains 55.90 PD50 and 0.04 ImD50 for pigs – high efficacy of the vaccine preparation.
EFFECT: said vaccine has high immunogenic activity and is able to provide effective protection of susceptible animals against the epizootic strain of foot-and-mouth disease virus genotype A/AFRICA/G-VII.
