SUBSTANCE: method and apparatus for controlling temperature of a magnetic heat-generating body, as well as electronic device (400). Method of controlling temperature includes: obtaining information about parameters of at least one heat-generating body in a cigarette intended for smoking; calculation of first magnetic field strength corresponding to Curie temperature, and controlling the first amount of current passing through the coil inside the smoking device so that the magnetic field strength generated by the coil is constant and equal to the first magnetic field strength; as well as receiving the temperature control command, determining the required temperature corresponding to the temperature control command, calculating the second current value based on the desired temperature and the temperature coefficient of resistance, as well as controlling the amount of current passing through the fuel element until a second current value is achieved.

EFFECT: after heat-generating body heating to Curie temperature by means of magnetic field strength generated by coil, heating and temperature control of current-inductive resistance material in heat-generating body is carried out by means of TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance), which provides accuracy of temperature control and adjustment.
