FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering, in particular to design of light-emitting diode strip for use in underground facilities, coal mines, oil and gas stations, tunnels, industrial and other explosion hazard zones. Claimed explosion-proof LED strip contains copper-coated current-conducting substrate with soldered LEDs and electrical components, installed into a rigid transparent shell with isolated from each other soldered-in conductors without voids, and is configured to be connected to the power cable on both sides, to be connected to a power source and to form a lighting line. Explosion-proof LED strip is configured to extend the illumination line through a cable permanently connected to the strip and a connecting explosion-proof sleeve or through a connector cable. Transparent cover is made of polymer material and has antistatic coating.
EFFECT: higher reliability and durability of the structure, providing a wide range of operating temperatures, providing uniform illumination, improving safety, enabling the possibility of simple and quick replacement of components with full restoration of operability, providing the possibility of connection with cable and wire products of different cross-section (1.5–6 mm), increase of lighting routing distance from power supply source with the possibility to use it in extended mines.
