Normal level of troponin I before the start and increase of the level of troponin I after the finish in relation to the upper limit of the norm, taking into account the sex of the sportsman, is less than 2 times testifies to the readiness of the sportsman's myocardium for the competitive load.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing the accuracy of determining myocardial readiness for a competitive aerobic load to prevent the development of complications in sportsmen when performing intense physical activities characteristic of elite sports, by measuring the concentration of cardiac troponin I, determined by a highly sensitive method before the control start and 8-14 hours after completion of the physical activity and calculating the degree of increase in the level of troponin I.
