SUBSTANCE: presented group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to sports genetics. Methods for assessing genetic predisposition to sports performance in cyclic sports are proposed, including collection of biological material of an athlete, its processing and extraction of DNA samples with subsequent genotyping using a genetic panel. When detecting certain allelic variants of genes ACE, BDKRB2, HIF1A, IL-6, AMPD1, PPARG, PPARA, CKM, ACTN3, IGF-II, sprinter phenotype is determined and efficiency at short distances is predicted. When detecting certain allelic variants of genes ACE, BDKRB2, NOS3, VEGFA, IL-6, AMPD1, PPARG, PPARGC1A, PPARA, ACTN3, intermediate phenotype is determined and effectiveness at medium distances is predicted. When detecting certain allelic variants of genes ACE, BDKRB2, NOS3, VEGFA, HIF1A, PPARGC1A, PPARA, CKM, TFAM, ACTN3, stayer phenotype is determined and effectiveness at long distances is predicted.

EFFECT: proposed group of inventions provides higher efficiency of prediction of sports performance in cyclic sports of a specific athlete by cumulative genetic prediction due to genetic testing of its DNA samples.
