FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to sports medicine and cardiology, and can be used in assessing the cardiovascular system in the Greco-Roman wrestlers against the background of extreme weight loss. For this, in the pre-contest period, in the Greco-Roman style wrestlers, in addition to extreme weight reduction, serum, namely potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and glucose, is additionally examined. In addition veloergometry is carried out. With values in the serum of potassium from 3.5 to 5.4 mmol/l, sodium from 135 to 155 mmol/l, calcium from 2.1 to 2.6 mmol/l, magnesium from 0.8 to 1.2 mmol/l and glucose no more than 5.5 mmol/l and when performing bicycle ergometry with reaching the maximum load stage for a period of up to 21 minutes in absence of pathological processes in the myocardium, the state of the cardiovascular system is assessed as satisfactory and allowed for further training and competition. At potassium values below 3.4 mmol/l, sodium below 134 mmol/l, calcium below 2.0 mmol/l, a magnesium concentration of not more than 0.7 mmol/l, a glucose level of 5.6 to 6.2 mmol/l, as a result of the veloergometry, the maximum power is not reached, rhythm disturbances were recorded: supraventricular, ventricular extrasystole, submaximal heart rate achieved before maximum exercise power and earlier 21 minutes – the condition of wrestlers was assessed as unsatisfactory, without admission to further training and competition.
EFFECT: method provides effective control over the state of the cardiovascular system in wrestlers engaged in Greco-Roman wrestling against extreme weight loss due to taking into account not only morphofunctional parameters, but also indicators of hemodynamics, water-salt balance, electrolyte and mineral composition of blood.
