FIELD: vehicles; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power plants of a vehicle. Multichannel converter contains two AC generator three-phase rectifiers, two bidirectional AC traction electric motors power inverters, two frequency and voltage converters for vehicle auxiliary electric motors supply, two vehicle auxiliary electric motors smooth launch devices, storage battery charging converter, on-board network power supply converter, auxiliary bidirectional inverter, step-down three-phase transformer, starting converter, traction generator excitation winding voltage converter, channel diagnosis and protection control system. Outputs of generator rectifiers and inputs of inverters for AC traction motors supply are connected to DC bus to which input of bidirectional auxiliary inverter is connected to the output of which transformer is connected through sine-filter.
EFFECT: reduction of power losses in rectifiers of traction generator, improvement of equipment reliability and expansion of functional capabilities of multichannel converter.
