FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and clinical immunology, and may be used for the prediction of postoperative intra-abdominal adhesions in the patients following an abdominal operation. Enzyme immunoassay of peripheral blood is performed on 3rd and 7th postoperative day. If on 3rd postoperative day, C-reactive protein is increased from 85.0 mg/l to 250.0 mg/l, serum amyloid A is 10.0–100.0 mg/l, and lipopolysaccharide-binding protein to values of 4.2 mg/l to 5.0 mg/l, and if by 7th day, C-reactive protein increases to values of more than 250.0 mg/l, serum amyloid A is more than 100.0 mg/l and lipopolysaccharide-binding protein of blood serum is more than 5.0 mg/l, development of postoperative intra-abdominal adhesions is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides higher prediction accuracy and reduced length of postoperative recovery ensured by studying the above markers on 3rd and 7th postoperative day.
