FIELD: railways.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to freight cars/open cars with cleaning hatches in body floor. Proposed car with cleaning hatch comprises body mounted on the frame with cleaning hatch with cover (6) made at its floor. In closed position, cover (6) rests on beam carcass (6) from above. Said cover is articulated with carcass beam by two hinges (7) arranged on cover outer side. One end of the cover hinges is hinged to the beam carcass, and the other end is rigidly connected to the outer side of the cover. Each hinge includes the first section arranged as curvilinear (7.1) and smoothly adjacent to the second section arranged as rectilinear (7.2). Curvilinear section comprises smoothly conjugated arc-like sections of different radius. Shape of curvilinear section of hinge provides possibility of hatchway opening frame by curvilinear section of loop when cover is opened and possibility of locating second end of curved section above inner surface of floor at a distance from edge of frame with open position of cover of cleaning hatch. In open position, cleaning hatch cover can thrust against floor inner surface.

EFFECT: invention increases ease of use and safety by ensuring a secure position of the open cover of the cleaning hatch, preventing it from spontaneously tipping over (closing).
