FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and environmental construction and can be used as protective fastening for restoration of eroded and disturbed areas of lands of the Arctic zone in the regions of the North and Far North. Proposed method comprises laying protective mesh and flexible mattresses of cylindrical shape made from perforated drainage pipes wrapped around by biomats and geogrid and laid in trenches with depth of up to 2/3 of their diameter. In gaps between rows of cylindrical mattresses on top of frozen soil over the entire area are folded flat mattresses of two or three layers of geomat, on top of which dense rows are laid bags filled with vegetal soil with addition of seeds of frost-resistant plants and shrubs. Bags are made from geotextile with diameter of 0.2-0.3 m and length of 0.8-1.0 m and are tied together with the help of rope knots. On top of rows of cylindrical mattresses and bags with vegetal soil along the entire area and perimeter of attachment, a protective net is tightened, and in some places it is attached to the base with the help of stakes. To ensure germination and development of the root system of frost-resistant plants and shrubs and accelerated recovery of the turfed surface of the eroded area of the earth, fastening gaps from bags with vegetal soil between cylindrical mattresses are poured with water.
EFFECT: anti-erosion fastening, erected by the proposed method, can be most effectively used for protection and restoration of eroded and disturbed areas of the reclaimed lands of the Arctic zone in the regions of the North and Far North.
