FIELD: hydraulic engineering and environmental construction
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to protect and restore eroded sections of ecological paths and recreation areas for tourists. In the method of erosion protection fastening of ecological paths, which includes stepped laying in the form of a ladder, the steps of the stairs are erected using bottom thresholds from flexible mattresses, which are made of perforated drainage pipes wrapped around with geomats and geogrid, and which are laid across the path and at a certain distance from each other along the entire length of the eroded area. Thresholds made of mattresses form step platforms, which are made of volumetric geogrids laid horizontally, filled to the top with rubble. Two continuous longitudinal rows of similar flexible mattresses are laid along the steps of the path, the first row is laid along the slope of the path under the slope and on top of the transverse mattresses, and the second row is laid along the steps along the edge of the path and the edge of the transverse mattresses, while both rows of flexible mattresses pass from the first step to the last one within the eroded section of the trail. Along the slope above the first row and below the second row of mattresses, geomats are laid in two or three layers of a certain width and nailed to the ground with stakes, wooden or metal.
EFFECT: method of anti-erosion fortification of an ecological path can be most effectively used in hard-to-reach mountain areas of recreational and protected areas, where ecological routes and paths are paved.
