FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science and may be used for treating bovine distal extremities diseases. Wound healing antimicrobial agent in the form of a gel for treating infectious diseases of bovine distal extremities contains the following ingredients, wt.%: copper disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate chelate 4.16, zinc disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate chelate 2.72, formic acid 0.21, acetic acid 0.11, lactic acid 0.17, carboxymethyl cellulose 3, distilled water – balance.
EFFECT: disclosed antimicrobial agent has pronounced antimicrobial properties and wound healing effect, high therapeutic effectiveness in treating finger and toe diseases of infectious and non-infectious aetiology in the initial and moderate severity, has no toxic effect on the animal's body.
