FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to devices for controlling and regulating pumps, pumping units or systems. The device for automatic control and monitoring of the pump operation contains a storage tank 10, in which the pump 9 is located, intermediate relays 11, 13 and a modular contactor 4. The device includes an automatic switch 1, a safety shut-off device 2, through which power is supplied to the contactor 4, a light signal valve 3 connected to intermediate relays 11, 13 and contactor 4, current monitoring relay 6, through normally closed contacts which sends a signal to the contactor coil 4 when the float switch 7 is closed, a dry running protection device 8 through which the pump 9 is connected to the contactor 4, an ammeter 5 showing the value of the operating current of the pump 9 on the control panel 14 of the pump 9. Through the contacts of the intermediate relays 11, 13, signals are sent to the remote warning device 12.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the likelihood of pump failure, increasing the service life of the pump by using a dry-running protection device and a current monitoring relay that eliminates prolonged operation of the pump in emergency mode, as well as improving the reliability of the system.
