SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the arrangement of electrical equipment on locomotives. The high-voltage control chamber of a shunting diesel locomotive is a modular structure made on a rigid metal frame in the form of a box in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped, the outside of the frame is closed with panels, covers, walls and doors, and the electric equipment of the locomotive is installed inside. Wherein part of the electrical equipment, which is the control and management elements, is located on the outer surfaces of the frame panels. The frame includes four vertical support posts, which are the beams of its supporting frame, two adjacent ones located at the corners are the edges of the parallelepiped face, and the other two support posts are located closer to the center of the opposite vertical face of the parallelepiped frame. On the outer side of the frame wall of the corresponding vertical edge, in which the support posts are located closer to its center, in the upper part there is a compartment protruding beyond the size of the cabinet. In this case, the lower and upper parts of the frame of the apparatus chamber are made open.

EFFECT: increasing the capacity of the working space, improving the electrical safety of work and ventilation of the equipment chamber.
