FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-destructive testing of metals and alloys. High-temperature electromagnetic converter for ferrite phase control consists of a system of coaxially arranged four windings wound on a frame made of dielectric heat-resistant material, of which two excitation windings are connected in accordance with each other, two measurement windings are connected oppositely, the distance between the excitation windings does not exceed one third of the length of the given winding, distance between measurement windings is selected so that when the steel sample is placed in the transducer, the flux of only one winding is changed, excitation and measurement windings are arranged symmetrically on the frame, the converter also comprises a fixture for holding the test specimen in the sensitivity zone of one of the measuring windings, tooling consists of a plate with a hole, in which a sample is placed, from a heat-resistant non-magnetic material with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and a load-bearing structure providing reliable fixation of this plate relative to the windings.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling the ferrite phase of samples heated to high temperatures (over 100 °C).
