FIELD: roentgen equipment.
SUBSTANCE: circuit is intended for direct control of anode current of X-ray tube with cold cathode by means of feedback signal proportional to anode current (IA), by means of automatic control of grid current (IG) of X-ray tube. Control is performed by means of a closed loop comprising: closed loop control circuit (CLR1), which generates an amplified error signal (SMOD) that is an amplified difference between the signal proportional to the anode current (IA) and the required signal of the anode current (IDEM), digital sequencer circuit, which converts received signal into several digital control signals, grid current control circuit, which receives digital control signals from the digital sequencer circuit and comprises at least one set formed by inverter (INV) and, optionally, DC-to-DC converter (DC-DC CONV), voltage and current transition transformer (TR), the rectified output signal of which provides grid current (IG) so that anode current (IA) can be obtained, which is almost equal to the required anode current signal (IDEM).
EFFECT: high reliability of the X-ray tube.
