FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: control method of multi-zone rectifier-inverter converter of single-phase alternating current relates to electrical engineering, in particular to conversion equipment, and can be used as a control method for multi-zone rectifier-inverter converter on electric rolling stock (electric locomotives and electric trains), which receives power from single-phase alternating current contact network. In each half-period of the mains voltage, the rectifier circuit of the converter is shunted by a chain by switching on the transistor, control of which is performed by supplying to its base of the unlocking control signal in the rectifier mode, and non-contact disconnection of the chain is performed by switching off the transistor, control of which is performed by supplying to its base of the control signal in the rectifier mode at the first control zone. Method of multi-zone rectifier-inverter converter of single-phase alternating current control is implemented in device containing transformer, rectifier-inverter converter based on parallel thyristor bridges, chain of series-connected diode and transistor, circuit of rectified converter current.
EFFECT: technical result consists in shunting circuit of rectified current converter with a chain connected between cathode and anode buses of converter and assembled based on series connection of diode, and transistor, connected by cathode diode to cathode bus and collector of transistor to anode buses of converter, and in contactless disconnection of the chain at the required instants of time by switching off the transistor.
