FIELD: roentgen equipment.
SUBSTANCE: circuit for controlling an X-ray exposure by means of an intermediate or feedback current which is directly proportional to grid current (IG), which in turn controls the tube anode current and which is ultimately responsible for the X-ray photons emission, comprises anode (A), cathode (K) connected to the ground, and grid (G) connected to grid current (IG) regulator circuit comprising DC-to-DC converter (CONV) or "down-converter", to which supply voltage (Vsup) is connected, which output is connected to inverter (INV), which in turn is connected to transformer (TR), where the output of said transformer (TR) is connected to a rectifier (RECT), whose outputs are connected to the grid (G) and to the ground. Besides, in the above controller circuit there is a control circuit (CONT).
EFFECT: simplification of X-ray radiation dose maintenance scheme.
