FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sliding bearing assembly includes a bushing, a journal, solid-lubricant inserts and pressing magnets. Pressing magnets are made in the form of elliptic cylinders placed in through cylindrical holes of the trunnion with possibility of their movement in these holes and forming a radial gap in the trunnion for removal of wear particles. Solid-lubricant inserts are fitted in diametrically opposite lengthwise grooves made at journal outer cylindrical surface to communicate via through guide cylindrical holes with magnets fitted therein. Width of grooves is larger than that of solid-lubricant elements to make axial channels for discharge of wear products.
EFFECT: increased strength of sliding bearing assembly.
