FIELD: medicine, laser and medicinal equipment. SUBSTANCE: method deals with cavern puncture with a needle for pleura punctures along with removal of cavern content, then a light guide is inserted into cavern via puncture needle to irradiate cavern surface by defocussed radiation of nitrogen laser working at pulse-frequency mode. Laser consists of discharge chamber, excitation unit, power unit and resonator designed by mirrors placed near the edges of discharge chamber which includes electrode knot of dielectric plate, anode and cathode upon the plate to be placed into the body with conductions inside it. Laser equipment consists of optically connected laser upon nitrogen or air with control system, focusing unit, light guide with spheric disperser. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 19 cl, 1 dwg
