FIELD: light- sensitive materials. SUBSTANCE: method consisting in applying antihalation layer onto one side of cleaned glass carrier followed by its drying and applying adhesion layer composition on the reverse side of the carrier followed by its drying and covering it with emulsion layer composition, which is dried and aged, is distinguished by protecting emulsion layer with additional layer composed of, wt %: polyvinyl alcohol, 6-8; glycerol, 3-5; ethanol, 47-49; and water, the balance. Protective layer is dried at 25-35 C. EFFECT: decreased defect of photographic materials.
